Board Design. The Federation and District have agreed to a transfer process design that allows teachers eligibility to transfer to other sites or programs within the District while protecting the job rights for those teachers whose positions were eliminated at their previous assignments. Experience has shown that the process described below provides more opportunities for teachers to move to other assignments within the District, better opportunities for teachers to participate in the selection process for staff team members, and protection of teachers’ seniority rights to other positions in the event of position reductions.
