Common use of Board of Directors and Officers of Sovereign and Sovereign Bank Clause in Contracts

Board of Directors and Officers of Sovereign and Sovereign Bank. (i) On the Effective Date, the Board of Directors of Sovereign, as the surviving corporation in the Merger, shall consist of those persons holding such office immediately prior to the Effective Date.
