Common use of Board of Rights Clause in Contracts

Board of Rights. Notwithstanding Section 4.865 of the Los Angeles Administrative Code, a grievance filed following a decision by a Board of Rights may be submitted for arbitration. The request for arbitration must be filed within fifteen (15) calendar days following the decision of the Board of Rights. Failure of the grievant to serve such written notice within said time period shall constitute waiver of the grievance.
