Common use of Bond Register Clause in Contracts

Bond Register. (a) The Paying Agent will keep or cause to be kept, at the place it shall designate for the purpose, sufficient books for the registration and transfer of the Bonds, which shall at all times be open to inspection by the Treasurer and the District, and, upon presentation for such purpose, the Paying Agent shall, under such reasonable regulations as it may prescribe, register or transfer or cause to be registered or transferred, on said books, Bonds as hereinbefore provided. (b) The Paying Agent shall assign each Bond authenticated and registered by it a distinctive letter or number, or letter and number.

(b) The Paying Agent shall assign each Refunding Bond authenticated and registered by it a distinctive letter or number, or letter and number.
