Common use of Boycott Certification Clause in Contracts

Boycott Certification. As required by Texas Government Code Chapter 2271.002, Contractor certifies that either (1) it meets an exemption criteria under Section 2271.002; or (2) it does not boycott Israel and will not boycott Israel during the term of the Agreement. Contractor acknowledges this Agreement may be terminated and payment withheld if this certification is or becomes inaccurate. If Contractor meets an exemption, it shall provide TWU written notice of what that exemption is at the time the Agreement is made. As required by Texas Government Code Chapter 2274, if Contractor has 10 or more full-time employees and the Contractor is to receive $100,000 or more in value for goods and services provided to TWU under this Agreement, Contractor certifies that it does not boycott energy companies and will not boycott energy companies during the term of this Agreement.
