Branches and Representative Offices Clause Samples

The "Branches and Representative Offices" clause defines the rights and obligations of a party regarding the establishment and operation of branch offices or representative offices in various locations. Typically, this clause outlines whether a party is permitted to open such offices, the conditions under which they may do so, and any requirements for notifying or obtaining consent from the other party. For example, it may specify that a company can set up a branch in another city to facilitate local operations, provided it complies with relevant laws and informs its contractual partner. The core function of this clause is to clarify the scope of a party's business presence and activities, thereby preventing misunderstandings or disputes about expansion and representation.
