BREAK CLAUSE. 51.1 Where stipulated in the Contract Particulars, the Council shall have the right to terminate the Contract at any time by giving written notice (of not less than the period specified in the Contract Particulars) to the Contractor 51.2 Where the Council exercises its right to terminate the Contract under clause 51.1, the Contractor shall only be entitled to payment for Services duly rendered up to the date of termination and the Council shall incur no liability to the Contractor in respect of any other losses whatsoever whether: 51.2.1 loss of future profits; 51.2.2 redundancy or sub-contractor breakage costs; or 51.2.3 any other costs whatsoever incurred by the Contractor as a consequence of such termination.
