Breeding Animals Sample Clauses

Breeding Animals. Are long term (multi-year) projects. It is the next step in project education that increases a member’s responsibility, involvement, and education by raising animals from start to finish. The purpose in breeding is to produce additional market animals that can be raised, shown, and sold at auction at fairs or to increase your breeding stock. Market animals will be considered first for space availability. Each breeding project will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by the 4-H YDC&F Committee.
Breeding Animals. The following conditions apply for breeding animals: A. Breeding projects will be given consideration if there is space available after market animal spaces have been assigned. B. No bulls will be allowed at the facility. C. When animals are being bred they must be taken to the breeder for this service unless artificial insemination is being done. In this case AI must be done under the direction of a Veterinarian. ▇. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ and commercial heifers may be housed at the barn for the amount of time necessary to complete that specific project. After such time the animal is to be removed from the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Agricultural Facility. The exhibitor will have two weeks (14 days) from the actual show date to have the animal removed from the facility. Failure to remove the animal from the property after set date will result in the animal will be removed from the facility at the owner’s expense and a removal fee of a $100.00 will be charged to the owner. E. Other breeding animals will be handled on a case by case basis and must have a contract on file with expected dates for the project. At the end of the contractual dates, the animal must be removed from the facility. F. Our facility is not adequate for the birthing of animals. Therefore, animals must be taken to the breeder or another birthing facility when it is time for them to deliver. Arrangements must be made with the Agriscience Teacher for return of the animal.
Breeding Animals. No mature breeding age male animals of any species will be allowed in the Ag Science Show Barn Center (bulls, rams, ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, boars). No bull calves will be allowed over the weight of 750 pounds. No boar pigs will be allowed over the weight of 100 pounds. No rams or billies will be allowed over the weight of 75 pounds. • The Ag Show Barn Center is not a breeding facility, therefore no animals will be allowed to deliver (calve, farrow, kid) offspring inside the stalls of the Ag Show Barn Center.
