Business Associate Agreement. In addition, certain functions included in this agreement may be covered within HIPAA rules. As such the Purchaser must comply with all provisions of the law and has determined that Provider is a “Business Associate” within the context of the law. As a result, the Purchaser requires Provider to sign and return with this contract the Business Associate Agreement, which will be included and made part of this agreement.
