Common use of Business of Borrowers and Subsidiaries Clause in Contracts

Business of Borrowers and Subsidiaries. Engage at any time in any business or business activity other than the business currently conducted by it and business activities reasonably incidental thereto. Notwithstanding the previous sentence, either Borrower may acquire, develop or otherwise engage in any new business (consistent with applicable regulatory requirements); provided, however, that all such new businesses (taken together) shall not materially affect the overall nature and character of the business of Popular and its Subsidiaries (taken as a whole), as currently conducted.
