Common use of Buyer and Seller Only Clause in Contracts

Buyer and Seller Only. The relationship between the Licensee and the Grantor is intended to be and shall be that of buyer and seller, and the Licensee and its employees, agents and representatives shall under no circumstances be considered agents, partners, joint venturers or representatives of the Grantor. The Licensee shall not act or attempt to act, or represent itself, directly or by implication, as agent, joint venturer, partner or representative of the Grantor or in any manner assume or attempt to assume or create any obligation or liability of any kind, nature or sort, express or implied, on behalf of or in the name of the Grantor.
