Common use of Buyer Duties Clause in Contracts

Buyer Duties. 17.1. The Buyer shall: 17.1.1. provide free of charge adequate and safe access to the Buyer's premises, information, documents and facilities (including resources for loading and unloading of goods and equipment) to enable the Seller to carry out its duties and responsibilities under the Contract; 17.1.2. be responsible for the safe custody of the Seller's (and its sub-contractors') property retained on the Buyer's site for the purposes of installation, commissioning, maintenance and/or removal of equipment; 17.1.3. obtain all necessary consents and comply with all legal obligations in connection with installation or use of any Goods supplied or equipment provided to the Buyer or work done on the Buyer's site; and 17.1.4. the Buyer shall be responsible for complying with any legislation or regulations governing the importation of the Goods into the country of destination and for the payment of any duties thereon.
