Common use of Buyer’s Acknowledgement of Use of the Assets Clause in Contracts

Buyer’s Acknowledgement of Use of the Assets. Buyer acknowledges that the Assets have been used for the exploration, development, and production of Hydrocarbons and possibly for the storage and disposal of Hydrocarbons, produced water, Hazardous Substances, or other substances related to standard oil field operations. Physical changes in, on, or under the Assets or adjacent lands may have occurred as a result of such uses. The Assets also may contain previously plugged and abandoned xxxxx, buried pipelines, buried pits, treating, dehydration, water treating and water transportation equipment, storage tanks, and other equipment, whether or not of a similar nature, the locations of which may not now be known by Seller or be readily apparent by a physical inspection of the Assets.
