C ompany Acceptance. The Company shall, within sixty (60) days, after the final publication of this ordinance, file with the City Clerk its written acceptance of all the terms, conditions, and provisions of this ordinance, and in case its failure so to do, this Ordinance shall be null and void. The acceptance of this ordinance, shall be in writing, and shall be duly acknowledged before some officer authorized by law to administer oaths; and when so accepted the ordinance and acceptance shall constitute a contract between the City and the Company subject to the provisions of the laws of the State of Kansas.
