CALLING NUMBER IDENTIFICATION Clause Samples

The Calling Number Identification clause establishes the requirement for telecommunications services to provide the recipient with the caller's phone number information. In practice, this means that when a call is made, the system must transmit the originating number to the receiving party, unless specific exceptions apply, such as privacy restrictions or technical limitations. This clause ensures transparency in communications, helps recipients identify callers, and can assist in preventing unwanted or fraudulent calls.
