Common use of Cancellation and Destruction of Notes by the Trustee Clause in Contracts

Cancellation and Destruction of Notes by the Trustee. Whenever any Outstanding Notes shall be delivered to the Trustee for the cancellation thereof pursuant to this Indenture, upon payment of the principal amount and interest represented thereby, or for replacement pursuant to Section 2.03 or 2.04 hereof, such Notes shall be promptly cancelled and, within a reasonable time, destroyed by the Trustee in accordance with its then standard procedures.
