Cancellation of Notes Paid, Etc. All Notes surrendered for the purpose of payment, redemption, exchange or registration of transfer shall be surrendered to the Trustee for cancellation and promptly cancelled by it and no Notes shall be issued in lieu thereof except as expressly permitted by this Indenture. The Company shall surrender to the Trustee any Notes so acquired by it and such Notes shall be cancelled by the Trustee. No Notes shall be authenticated in lieu of or in exchange for any Notes so cancelled.
