Cancellation Penalties Sample Clauses
The Cancellation Penalties clause defines the financial consequences or fees that a party must pay if they choose to terminate an agreement before its agreed-upon end date. Typically, this clause outlines specific amounts or formulas for calculating penalties, which may vary depending on how much notice is given or the stage of the contract at the time of cancellation. Its core practical function is to deter premature termination and compensate the non-cancelling party for losses or inconveniences resulting from the early end of the agreement.
