Canine Allowance Sample Clauses

Canine Allowance. The appointing authority may designate an employee to keep and maintain a dog for use in the Probation Department's canine program. For employees so designated who do actually maintain a County-owned dog, the County will pay all costs concerning veterinary costs, food, supplies, dog shelter and any other approved expense relating to the maintenance of the dog. Employees who are compensated under this provision shall keep all required immunizations and licenses current for the dog.
Canine Allowance. Members who are designated as canine officers shall be paid $5.00 per day as compensation for expenses associated with the care of their dog while at home. Such payment shall be made in $912.50 installments on January 15 and July 15 of each year. In recognition of the fact that canine officers spend time caring for their dogs while at home, they will be required to be physically present at the police division for only 7.5 hours of their 8 hour shift.
Canine Allowance. 24.1. Active Canine Members shall receive an allowance of Fifty-five Dollars ($55.00) per month while in the Canine Section.

Employees so designated who do actually maintain a dog, which maintenance shall include all veterinary services, shall be compensated at the rate of six dollars ($6) per dog per calendar day, this payment to be made quarterly. Employees who are compensated under this provision shall keep all required immunizations and licenses current for the dog.
Canine Allowance. A. Bargaining unit employees who are assigned to the Canine Program shall be paid Two Hundred Dollars ($200) per month as compensation for the care, feeding, grooming, transportation and handling of a police canine. B. Costs associated with the feeding and care of the assigned canine, including routine veterinary care, vaccinations and boarding expenses associated with out- of-area training assignment, shall be the responsibility of the Department. Canine officers shall obtain prior Department approval for boarding facilities not designated by the Department. X. Xxxxxx officers may, at their option, use the canine patrol unit(s) for travel to and from the Department on work days.

  • Site Allowance All new construction and extension/refurbishment work having a project value in excess of $2.0m will attract the then current City of Melbourne Site Allowance.

  • Expense Allowance The Company shall reimburse the Executive for all reasonable and necessary expenses incurred by him from time to time in the performance of his duties hereunder, against receipts therefor in accordance with the then effective policies and requirements of the Company.

  • Mileage Allowance The state agrees to seek continued funding to provide for the payment of a mileage allowance for the use of privately owned vehicles for official travel at the rate provided in section 112.061(7)(d)1., F.S.

  • First Aid Allowance An employee who has been trained to render first aid and who is the current holder of appropriate first aid qualifications such as a certificate from the St. John's Ambulance or similar body shall be paid a weekly allowance of $11.50 if appointed by their employer to perform first aid duty.

  • Cleaning Allowance The University will pay for the cleaning of Department issued uniforms and necessary work clothing requiring cleaning worn by employees assigned to non-uniformed positions.

  • Tool Allowance (a) A tool allowance as set in the relevant Wage Tables in Appendix A per week shall be paid for all purposes to:- (i) Electrical workers at Grade EW 5 and beyond; (ii) Electrical workers performing the duties of: (A) Television Antenna Installer/Erector; (B) Television/Radio/Electronic Equipment Servicemen; and (iii) Apprentices - Contained within the relevant Apprentice Wage Rates.

  • Aid Allowance An employee who has been appointed by the Employer and trained to render first aid and who is the current holder of appropriate first aid qualifications such as a certificate from the St. Xxxx's Ambulance or similar body shall be paid weekly an allowance as detailed in Appendix A. The Employer will always appoint the appropriate number of First Aid Officers as required by relevant legislation and Code of Practice.

  • Training Allowance Operators who are required by the Employer to provide training to a specified level and to certify to the competency of the employees so trained shall receive twelve dollars ($12) per day while training. In such cases, the most senior qualified operator with the capability to provide training in the required class of equipment shall be given the opportunity to provide such training.

  • Shift Allowance In addition to the wage specified in sub-clause (1), read with sub- clause (12), a normal shift worker shall, in respect of his shift hours worked in any week, be paid an additional 12,5% on such wage.

  • Isolation Allowance ‌ Employees in the following Communities shall receive an Isolation Allowance of $74.00 per month.
