Capacity and Performance Planning Clause Samples
The Capacity and Performance Planning clause defines the responsibilities and processes for ensuring that a system or service can handle expected workloads and meet performance requirements. Typically, this clause requires the service provider to assess current and future usage needs, monitor system performance, and implement upgrades or adjustments as necessary to prevent bottlenecks or service degradation. Its core function is to ensure that the system remains reliable and efficient as demand changes, thereby minimizing the risk of outages or slowdowns that could disrupt business operations.
Capacity and Performance Planning. For systems directly providing services to Customer, Computershare shall ensure that the likelihood and impact of system failures or outages are minimized, through the use of effective capacity and performance planning practices. For systems used to process Customer transactions and/or to manage Customer assets, Computershare shall maintain capacity plans and conduct performance monitoring in accordance with good industry practice.
