Common use of Captions and Severability Clause in Contracts

Captions and Severability. The captions of the Sections and Subsections of this Lease are for convenience of reference only and shall not be considered or referred to in resolving questions of interpretation. If any term or provision of this Lease shall be found invalid, void, illegal, or unenforceable with respect to any particular person or entity by a court of competent jurisdiction, it shall not affect, impair or invalidate any other terms or provisions hereof, or its enforceability with respect to any other person or entity, the parties hereto agreeing that they would have entered into the remaining portion of this Lease notwithstanding the omission of the portion or portions adjudged invalid, void, illegal, or unenforceable with respect to such person or entity.

If any term or provision of this Lease shall be found invalid, void, illegal, or unenforceable with respect to any particular person or entity circumstance by a court of competent jurisdiction, it shall not affect, impair or invalidate any other terms or provisions hereof, or its enforceability with respect to any other person or entitycircumstance, the parties hereto agreeing that they would have entered into the remaining portion of this Lease notwithstanding the omission of the portion or portions adjudged invalid, void, illegal, or unenforceable with respect to such person or entitycircumstance.
