Captions; Attachments; Defined Terms. (a) The captions of the paragraphs of this Lease are for convenience only and shall not be deemed to be relevant in resolving any question of interpretation or construction of any paragraph of this Lease. The provisions of this Lease shall be construed in accordance with the fair meaning of the language used and shall not be strictly construed against either party. When required by the contents of this Lease, the singular includes the plural. Wherever the term “including” is used in this Lease, it shall be interpreted as meaning “including, but not limited to,” the matter or matters thereafter enumerated. (b) Exhibits attached hereto, and addenda and schedules initialed by the parties, are deemed to constitute part of this Lease and are incorporated herein. (c) The words “Landlord” and “Tenant” as used herein, shall include the plural as well as the singular. Words used in neuter gender include the masculine and feminine and words in the masculine or feminine gender include the neuter. The obligations of this Lease as to a Tenant which consists of husband and wife shall extend individually to their sole and separate property as well as community property.
