Cardiac surgery. The following services are to be provided exclusively by University of Maryland Medicine: Cardiac Catheterization (CATH) Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA) Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) The HMO will adjudicate these claims and charge the IPA for the physician component via capitation reduction. The costs remaining which the HMO pays will be included in the UIS Pool. The amounts associated with these services will be provided by the HMO separate from this document.
