Care for Parents Sample Clauses

The "Care for Parents" clause establishes an obligation for one party, often an adult child, to provide support or care for their parents. This may include financial assistance, arranging for medical care, or ensuring their general well-being, depending on the specific terms outlined in the agreement. By clearly defining the responsibilities and expectations regarding parental care, this clause helps prevent misunderstandings and ensures that the needs of aging parents are addressed in a structured manner.
Care for Parents. If the request is to care for parents of the employee or spouse (including stepparents), the transfer shall be granted only if: 1. No other relative is available to provide care. 2. The parent(s) cannot be moved to the employee’s current area. 3. The employee will reside within the geographic area of the parent(s). 4. The parent’s physician verifies that the employee’s presence will help alleviate the hardship.
Care for Parents. Leaves for care for their own infirm parents, or those of their spouse, will be provided in the same manner as parental leaves in this Article.
