Casualty Recoveries. Provide the necessary information regarding paid claims in order to seek recovery from liable parties in legal actions involving Members. In cases where an attorney has been retained, a lawsuit filed or a lump sum settlement offer is made, the MCO shall notify Medicaid within five days of identifying such information so that recovery efforts can be coordinated when the Department has a claim for the same accident.
