Centre Authorization to Proceed Sample Clauses

The 'Centre Authorization to Proceed' clause grants formal permission for a designated party, often a contractor or service provider, to begin work or specific activities related to a project. This authorization typically comes after certain prerequisites are met, such as the execution of a contract, approval of plans, or receipt of necessary documentation. By clearly defining when and how work may commence, the clause helps prevent unauthorized or premature actions, ensuring that all parties are aligned and that project risks are managed from the outset.
Centre Authorization to Proceed. If an environmental assessment is required, the Centre shall determine whether the Project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects on receipt of the environmental assessment screening report provided by the Recipient and any other information that the Centre deems to be relevant. The Recipient shall provide the Centre with any additional information requested by the Centre in order to enable the Centre to meet the requirements of the IAA. The Recipient shall not in any way implement or carry out the Project until the environmental assessment screening report, if required, has been submitted to the Centre and the Centre has provided its authorization to proceed in writing.
