Common use of Certain Exceptions to Sections 2 Clause in Contracts

Certain Exceptions to Sections 2. 06 and 2.10 of the Mortgage. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 2.06 or Section 2.10 of the Mortgage, the Company shall not be required (a) to issue, register, discharge from registration, exchange, or register the transfer of any Bond of the 20 Series for a period of fifteen days next preceding any selection by the Trustee of Bonds of the 20 Series to be redeemed or (b) to register, discharge from registration, exchange, or register the permitted transfer of any Bond of the 20 Series so selected for redemption in its entirety or (c) to exchange or register the permitted transfer of any portion of a Bond of the 20 Series which portion has been so selected for redemption.

Certain Exceptions to Sections 2. 06 and 2.10 of the Mortgage. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 2.06 or Section 2.10 of the Mortgage, the Company shall not be required (a) to issue, register, discharge from registration, exchange, or register the transfer of any Bond of the 20 2031 Series for a period of fifteen days next preceding any selection by the Trustee of Bonds of the 20 2031 Series to be redeemed or (b) to register, discharge from registration, exchange, or register the permitted transfer of any Bond of the 20 2031 Series so selected for redemption in its entirety or (c) to exchange or register the permitted transfer of any portion of a Bond of the 20 2031 Series which portion has been so selected for redemption.

Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 2.06 or Section 2.10 of the Mortgage, the Company shall not be required (a) to issue, register, discharge from registration, exchange, or register the transfer of any Bond of the 20 2051 Series for a period of fifteen days next preceding any selection by the Trustee of Bonds of the 20 2051 Series to be redeemed or (b) to register, discharge from registration, exchange, or register the permitted transfer of any Bond of the 20 2051 Series so selected for redemption in its entirety or (c) to exchange or register the permitted transfer of any portion of a Bond of the 20 2051 Series which portion has been so selected for redemption.

Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 2.06 or Section 2.10 of the Mortgage, the Company shall not be required (a) to issue, register, discharge from registration, exchange, exchange or register the transfer of any Bond of the 20 2033 Series C for a period of fifteen (15) days next preceding any selection by the Trustee of Bonds of the 20 2033 Series C to be redeemed or (b) to register, discharge from registration, exchange, exchange or register the permitted transfer of any Bond of the 20 2033 Series C so selected for redemption in its entirety or (c) to exchange or register the permitted transfer of any portion of a Bond of the 20 2033 Series C which portion has been so selected for redemption.

Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 2.06 or Section 2.10 of the Mortgage, the Company shall not be required (a) to issue, register, discharge from registration, exchange, or register the transfer of any Bond of the 20 2027 Series for a period of fifteen days next preceding any selection by the Trustee of Bonds of the 20 2027 Series to be redeemed or (b) to register, discharge from registration, exchange, or register the permitted transfer of any Bond of the 20 2027 Series so selected for redemption in its entirety or (c) to exchange or register the permitted transfer of any portion of a Bond of the 20 2027 Series which portion has been so selected for redemption.

Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 2.06 or Section 2.10 of the Mortgage, the Company shall not be required (a) to issue, register, discharge from registration, exchange, exchange or register the transfer of any Bond of the 20 2033 Series A for a period of fifteen (15) days next preceding any selection by the Trustee of Bonds of the 20 2033 Series A to be redeemed or (b) to register, discharge from registration, exchange, exchange or register the permitted transfer of any Bond of the 20 2033 Series A so selected for redemption in its entirety or (c) to exchange or register the permitted transfer of any portion of a Bond of the 20 2033 Series A which portion has been so selected for redemption.

Certain Exceptions to Sections 2. 06 and 2.10 of the Mortgage. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 2.06 or Section 2.10 of the Mortgage, the Company shall not be required (a) to issue, register, discharge from registration, exchange, exchange or register the transfer of any Bond of the 20 2002 Second Series for a period of fifteen (15) days next preceding any selection by the Trustee of Bonds of the 20 2002 Second Series to be redeemed or (b) to register, discharge from registration, exchange, exchange or register the permitted transfer of any Bond of the 20 2002 Second Series so selected for redemption in its entirety or (c) to exchange or register the permitted transfer of any portion of a Bond of the 20 2002 Second Series which portion has been so selected for redemption.

Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 2.06 or Section 2.10 of the Mortgage, the Company shall not be required (a) to issue, register, discharge from registration, exchange, or register the transfer of any Bond of the 20 2018 Series for a period of fifteen days next preceding any selection by the Trustee of Bonds of the 20 2018 Series to be redeemed or (b) to register, discharge from registration, exchange, or register the permitted transfer of any Bond of the 20 2018 Series so selected for redemption in its entirety or (c) to exchange or register the permitted transfer of any portion of a Bond of the 20 2018 Series which portion has been so selected for redemption.
