Certain Tax Law Changes. In the event of the passage after the date hereof of any law deducting from the value of real property, for the purpose of taxation, amounts in respect of any Lien thereon or changing in any way the laws for the taxation of mortgages or debts secured by mortgages for state or local purposes or the manner of the collection of any taxes, and imposing any taxes, either directly or indirectly, on this Mortgage or any other Loan Document which are payable by or assessed on the Mortgagee, the Mortgagor shall promptly pay to the Mortgagee or the appropriate tax authority such amount or amounts as may be necessary from time to time to pay any such taxes, assessments or other charges resulting therefrom; provided, that if any such payment or reimbursement to the Mortgagee shall be unlawful or taxable, or would constitute usury or render the indebtedness wholly or partially usurious under applicable law, the Mortgagor shall pay or reimburse Mortgagee for payment of the lawful and non-usurious portion thereof.
