Common use of Certain Words and Phrases Clause in Contracts

Certain Words and Phrases. Unless otherwise expressly stated in this Agreement, the following words and phrases shall be interpreted as follows: (a) the words “include”, “includes”, “including” shall be construed as if followed by the phrase “without limitation”; and (b) the word “may” shall be construed as meaning “shall have the right but not the obligation to”.
