Certificate/Additional Insured Sample Clauses

The Certificate/Additional Insured clause requires one party, typically a contractor or service provider, to provide proof of insurance coverage and to name the other party as an additional insured on their policy. In practice, this means the insured party must obtain a certificate from their insurer confirming that the other party is covered under their liability policy for specific activities or projects. This clause ensures that the additional insured has direct protection under the insurance policy, reducing their exposure to potential claims and liabilities arising from the actions of the insured party.
