Common use of Certificate of Conformity Clause in Contracts

Certificate of Conformity. Where required in Schedule 3 (Contract Data Sheet) the Contractor shall provide a Certificate of Conformity (CofC) in accordance with Schedule 2 (Schedule of Requirements) and any applicable Quality Plan. One copy of the CofC shall be sent to the Authority’s Representative (Commercial) upon Delivery, and one copy shall be provided to the Consignee upon Delivery. The Contractor shall consider the CofC to be a record in accordance with clause A23 (Contractor’s Records). The Information provided on the CofC shall include: Contractor’s name and address; Contractor unique CofC number; Contract number and where applicable Contract amendment number; Details of any approved concessions; Acquirer name and organisation; Delivery address; Contract Item Number from Schedule 2 (Schedule of Requirements); Description of Contractor Deliverable, including part number, Specification and configuration status; Identification marks, batch and serial numbers in accordance with the Specification; Quantities; A signed and dated statement by the Contractor that the Contractor Deliverables comply with the requirements of the Contract and approved concessions. Exceptions or additions to the above are to be documented.
