The work includes furnishing and installing a pre- designed PRS and tying into an existing water main in two (2) places with new valves and piping to grade of one connect the new PRS to the water system. Additionally, the work includes installing two (12) new valves in existing water valve well cover to grade. All work shall be performed in accordance with mains and also removing an existing piping cross and connecting the Excavation Permit issued by the County of San Diego Department of Public Works. Work includes demolition, remove andexcavation, reconstruct approximately 8,328 square feet installation of below grade pipeline, corrosion protection for adjacent pipes, valves and appurtenances, backfill and compaction, asphalt concrete pavement over aggregate base (new pavement section paving, slurry sealing the roadway and all related work. Contractor is to include removal of all spoils/debris as required. Fill dirt if required shall be 3 inches asphalt concrete over 4 inches aggregate base); remove certified tested and reconstruct approximately 431 lineal feet clear of asphalt concrete dike (including 2-inch thick asphalt concrete pavement under the dike); and the adjustment to grade of one (1) water valve well cover to grade.
