Certified DBEsTo qualify as a ―Disadvantaged Business Enterprise‖ (―DBE‖), a business enterprise must be certified by the New York State Department of Transportation (―NYSDOT‖). An approved letter from the NYSDOT Office of Equal Opportunity Development and Compliance is required as proof of DBE certification for any DBE prime or sub consultant.
