CERTIFIED JOURNEYPERSON Clause Samples

The CERTIFIED JOURNEYPERSON clause establishes that only individuals who have obtained official certification as journeypersons are permitted to perform certain skilled work under the contract. In practice, this means that contractors must ensure their workforce includes employees who have completed the necessary training and passed any required examinations to be recognized as certified in their trade. This clause helps maintain high standards of workmanship and safety on the project by ensuring that only qualified personnel carry out specialized tasks.
