Common use of Cessation of entitlement to the Grant Clause in Contracts

Cessation of entitlement to the Grant. If the Council exercises its right under Clause 12.1.3 (Rights reserved for the Council in relation to an Event of Default) (above) the Council shall give written notice to the Grant Recipient that the Council is ceasing to make payment of the Grant and from the date of such notice the Council shall cease to be under any obligation to pay any amount of the Grant to the Grant Recipient and shall have no ongoing or continuing obligations in respect of the Project under this Agreement.
