Change in Form of Benefit Payments. Any former Employee whose payments are being deferred or who is receiving installment payments may request acceleration or other modification of the form of benefit distribution, subject to Code Section 401(a)(9), provided that any necessary consent to such change required pursuant to Section 6.2.4 is obtained from the Employee's Spouse. This Section 6.3 shall not apply to any Employee who becomes a Participant on or after January 1, 1989 or to Plans adopted after that date.
