Common use of CHANGE IN YOUR CREDIT LIMIT Clause in Contracts

CHANGE IN YOUR CREDIT LIMIT. We will keep your Credit Limit under review throughout the term of this Agreement. You may reduce your Credit Limit at any time by providing us with notice in writing to xxxxxxx@xxxxx.xxx. We may reduce your Credit Limit based on an assessment of risk or your ability to repay, or if your Account becomes a Dormant Account, and we have the right to not give you any notice beforehand if we think this would not be appropriate. We may, however, choose to give you up to seven days’ notice. We won’t reduce your Credit Limit to less than your total outstanding balance, plus any Purchases authorised but not yet applied to your Account. If we increase your Credit Limit we’ll give you 30 days’ notice unless you’ve asked for the increase yourself. When you receive this notice you can tell us not to increase your Credit Limit. You can also tell us not to increase your Credit Limit at any time in the future or tell us at any time if you want to reduce your credit limit. We won’t increase your Credit Limit if we think you can’t afford to make the Total Monthly Repayments.
