Change of Contracts. 6.5.1 Teachers must notify the Human Resources Department by September 1 that they qualify for change of placement. An official transcript supporting the allowable movement is required to be submitted to the Human Resources Department by September 15 documenting earned credits. If there are extenuating circumstances at the college or university regarding the timing for transcripted credit, those extenuating circumstances shall be documented in writing by the institution of higher education. The employee is responsible to obtain this documentation for submission to the Human Resources Department. Retroactive placement shall become effective at the time of verification of credits.
