Changes in Load Clause Samples
The "Changes in Load" clause defines how adjustments to the quantity or type of goods, services, or work required under a contract are managed. Typically, this clause outlines the procedures for requesting, approving, and implementing changes in the scope or volume of work, such as increasing or decreasing the number of units delivered or modifying service levels. By establishing a clear process for handling fluctuations in demand or requirements, the clause helps both parties adapt to changing circumstances while minimizing disputes and ensuring that contractual obligations remain fair and manageable.
Changes in Load. Notwithstanding any other provision of this article, no policy, procedure or practice pertaining to load, as defined in 9.2, shall prohibit changes in load within a division as long as the changes are required by curriculum adjustments that have been approved by the faculty of the division and the appropriate college curriculum committee. All such changes shall conform to the Load Table dated August 3, 2016.
