Common use of Changes in the Environmental Laws Clause in Contracts

Changes in the Environmental Laws. It is acknowledged and agreed by the USFWS that the Permittees are agreeing to perform substantial avoidance, minimization, mitigation, conservation and management measures as set forth in this Agreement. If a change in, or an addition to, any federal law governing or regulating the impacts of the Covered Activities on land, water or biological resources as they relate to Covered Species, including, but not limited to, ESA and NEPA, the USFWS shall give due consideration to the measures required under the SSHCP in applying the new laws and regulations to the Plan Permittees.
