CHANGES - SERVICE CONTRACTS. The County may at any time by issuance of an executed change order make changes within the general scope of the contract in any of the following areas: A. Description of services to be performed. B. Time of Performance (i.e., hours of the day, days of the week, etc.). C. Place of performance of the services. If additional work or other changes are required in the areas described above, a price proposal shall be required from the Contractor. Upon negotiation of the proposal, execution and receipt of the change order, the Contractor shall commence performance of the work as specified. The Contractor shall not commence the performance of additional work or other changes not covered by this contract without an executed change order issued by the Purchasing and Contracts Division. If the Contractor performs additional work beyond the specific requirements of this contract without an executed change order, it shall be at his/her own risk. The County assumes no responsibility for any additional costs for work not specifically authorized by an executed change order.
