CHANGING THE BENEFICIARY. The Owner may change the Beneficiary of the death benefit by signing a Beneficiary change request satisfactory to the Company and sending it to the Home Office. The Beneficiary change will be effective as of the date that it was signed by the Owner, unless otherwise specified by the Owner. The Company is not responsible for any payment or other action that is taken by it before the receipt of the request. The Company may require that the Contract be sent to it to be endorsed to show the change.
