Chapter 2252, Texas Government Code. For purposes of Subchapter F of Chapter 2252 of the Texas Government Code, the Bank hereby represents that (i) it does not, nor does any affiliate of the Bank, engage in business with Iran, Sudan or any foreign terrorist organization as described in Chapter 2270 of the Texas Government Code, or Subchapter F of Chapter 2252 of the Texas Government Code, and (ii) it, and any affiliate of the Bank, is not a company listed by the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts under Sections 2252.152, 2252.153 or 2270.0153 of the Texas Government Code. The term "foreign terrorist organization" as used herein has the meaning assigned to such term in Section 2252.151 of the Texas Government Code. The term “company,” as used herein, has the meaning assigned to such term in Section 2270.0001(2) of the Texas Government Code. For purposes of this Section, the Bank understands “affiliate” to mean any entity that controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with the Bank and exists to make a profit.
