Check for Wildlife Clause Samples

The "Check for Wildlife" clause requires parties to inspect a site or area for the presence of wildlife before commencing certain activities, such as construction or land development. In practice, this may involve conducting surveys or assessments to identify protected species or habitats that could be affected by the planned work. The core function of this clause is to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and to prevent harm to wildlife, thereby reducing legal and reputational risks for the parties involved.
Check for Wildlife. Every day, prior to beginning any construction work, Permittee shall visually check all sections of pipe/construction materials and associated work equipment for the presence of wildlife sheltering in them. Alternatively, the ends of any pipes may be capped while stored on site to prevent wildlife from entering.
