City Procurement. If the CITY determines that it is in its own best interest to procure such long-lead time items, items may be procured by the CITY on terms and conditions acceptable to the CM/GC. Upon the CITY’s acceptance of the CM/GC’s Guaranteed Maximum Price proposal, all contracts for such items shall be assigned by the CITY to the CM/GC, who shall accept responsibility for such items as if procured by the CM/GC.
