City Residents. The Contractor is encouraged to try to use City residents, and local, Small, Minority-Owned, Women-Owned, and Service Disabled Veteran-Owned businesses, when practical.
City Residents. For all Camps and Programs, City residents shall receive (1) preferential registration; meaning, that registration shall be open to City residents for not less ten (10) days prior to registration opening to non-Fishers residents; and (2) a discount of not less than ten percent (10%) off the rate charged to non-Fishers residents.

Commencing in calendar year 2006 and continuing for not less than five (5) years, Hospital shall hire in each calendar year no less than 100 residents of the City of New Haven for full-time positions with Hospital. Hospital shall direct its recruiting efforts for such positions so as to maximize the number of positions filled by residents of the neighborhoods surrounding Hospital’s campus, to the extent feasible. As part of this effort, Hospital shall establish a comprehensive training program for residents through a collaborative effort that includes institutional and organizational partners, such as educational institutions of higher learning and work force development organizations.
