CJTA Funding. Allowable Services in the Jail a. Substance Use Disorder treatment in the Jail If CJTA funds are utilized for these purposes, the Contractor must provide treatment in the jail according to the following: i. Identify and provide transition services to persons with substance use disorder, who meet the CJTA requirements as defined in RCW 71.24.580, to expedite and facilitate their return to the community ii. Continue treatment services with individuals who were engaged in community- based treatment prior to their incarceration, with the intent to complete the outpatient treatment episode iii. Initiate outpatient treatment services with individuals who will be released and transition into community-based treatment iv. The following treatment modalities may be provided through CJTA funding in the jail: Engaging individuals in SUD treatment; Screening, Assessing, and inducting individuals on MOUD; Referral to SUD services; Providing continuity of care; and Planning for an individual’s transition from Jail. b. CJTA funds may not supplement or supplant any currently funded programs that previously existed in a Jail environment.
