Common use of Claim Payments Made in Error Clause in Contracts

Claim Payments Made in Error. If CareFirst BlueChoice makes a claim payment to or on behalf of the Member in error, the Member is required to repay CareFirst BlueChoice the amount paid in error. If the Member has not repaid the full amount owed CareFirst BlueChoice and CareFirst BlueChoice makes a subsequent benefit payment, CareFirst BlueChoice may subtract the amount owed CareFirst BlueChoice from the subsequent payment.
