Common use of Claims With Government Agencies Clause in Contracts

Claims With Government Agencies. This Arbitration Agreement does not prevent Employee from filing claims or charges with governmental agencies, including but not limited to the U.S. Department of Labor or U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission or any similar agency of the State in which Employee resides. However, any such claims or charges that are not resolved by the governmental agency will then be decided through arbitration under this Arbitration Agreement. This Agreement does not prevent Employee from testifying or giving evidence in any investigation or proceeding before such agencies or in any court of law.
