Class Salary Range Changes Sample Clauses
The Class Salary Range Changes clause establishes the procedures and conditions under which the salary ranges for a specific group or class of employees may be adjusted. Typically, this clause outlines who has the authority to propose or approve changes, the factors that may trigger a review (such as market comparisons or cost-of-living adjustments), and the process for communicating and implementing any modifications. Its core practical function is to provide a structured and transparent method for updating salary ranges, ensuring fairness and adaptability to changing economic or organizational circumstances.
Class Salary Range Changes. When the salary range for a class is changed in the Agreement, employees in the class shall change to the new range but shall remain at the same step. When changes in an employee's class or salary, or both, occur simultaneously with salary range adjustments in the Agreement, the employee changes shall precede the Agreement adjustments in application.
